Sigh, it's certainly been an interesting year. I've had new experiences, new friends and contacts, and brand new things to look back on. And tomorrow I'll be celebrating the end of a decade and the dawn of a new…uh decade. I wonder if it'll all go in phases like the 1900 decades, like the 2010's will be one thing and the 2020's will be defined by something else.

For the record, I don't by into the Mayan Calendar at all. The only possible way it'd happen is if Palin really does take office.


Let's see, what kind of things have I accomplished this year…

I first joined an RP board, a kingdom hearts one with Xerrica.
I got into Hetalia, which is great.
My first kingdom hearts game, which is better then I thought it would be. Mostly because I don't totally suck.
I learned to play Rock band, I'm wobbly but okay.
All those Nobody OC's I worked on and am still working on. In fact, I better finish up on the Sisarix one and post before the year is up.
Etcetera etcetera…XD


Anyway, I hope you have a very happy new year. I'll see you all in 2010.

And as for resolutions, I only have one big one……………WRITE!

Christmas went great! My eyes cleared up just in time and things were happy as ever.

Everyone loved the gifts I got them and Santa did not disappoint. Things were terrific! I mostly got books and manga, which I am not complaining about. The tale of Desperoux was a particular gem. I also got kingdom hearts 358/2 days, and Zelda Spirit Tracks, so good on the gaming as well. And coupons for the local book shop, and only place to buy manga on the island.


Oh! And I got a BOOK SAFE! How cool is that? 8D

Well like I said in the title, Christmas is in three days, and thankfully I only have a few more things to buy which is all planned out for tomorrow. And one of my big brothers came to the island to spent the holidays with us! So yaaaay!

I would say things are going great, but that would be a lie. The universe decided to play 'make the wimp cry' and I've been less then cheery as of late.

It started a few days ago when I drive off with my dad and sister so she can buy parts for a potato launcher to give to her boyfriend when the car's transmission blew out and we got stranded, forcing us to call for a ride and cram into a car that reeked of gas and made my head ache. Plus we were low on water and the whole trip was a waste of time, and we now have no car.

And then yesterday I decided to stay in to avoid any irritations, when an acquaintance of my sister decided to become even thrice as selfish and irritating as usual. I could hear her cussing in the backyard. Oh, and my grandma is worse then ever about how because a few things are left on the table or one or two dishes are left out, we're all filthy pigs living in a dump.

And then I woke up today, ready to go with mom to her school to help with a craft day, only to find my eyes were puffed up bad and I had to wait until noon to go so the swelling could go down. And then I leanred the craft hours were in the morning and I missed it, and I was really exited to go too…… And I'm pretty sure there's a sty in both my eyes, one of which might have been there for a while untreated and therefore painful when I apply drops.



Is it me? Does the island hate me? Or am I getting in my karmic points early for something I'm getting for Christmas? Either way, I want Christmas to come soon as possible and make me happy again!

I hope you all have a happy and festive thanksgiving. I love it because it's an excuse to pig out. (I'm such a glutton) But for my family the party is on the day before thanksgiving, AKA today.

Why?

It's PIE DAY!

We spend the whole day making pies of all kinds. We just made the apple ones, which ate super sweet this year, and I'm gonna make a chocolate peanut butter pie as well.

And tomorrow I'm gonna watch the parade with my friends.

And the next day I'm gonna meet
