Okay, since my last post I've gotten a lot better. The infection is (hopefully) gone and the house has calmed down. I still have no real way to get my files from the broken computer, but it should be fixed soon.

Anyway, the other reason for this journal, and I were doing a sort of 'make up funny sounds' game in his 'End Of The World' photo, and I decided to make up what those sounds we came up with might go with. They are my own interpretations, so if you have a different one just say so. The first one was woosh, which everyone knows about.

Wooshazip: The sound caused by falling down a waterfall during canoing.
Wewshadeewewsh: The sound made when sliding down handrails.
Spramp: Gelled hair getting crunched.
Foomp: What one would hear after tugging your jammed thumb out of a bottle.
Pwink: Something plastic hitting something metal.
Fwooz: When something is thrown into the air with a spinning motion.
Shwirng: The sound made when something slips out of a person's hand after being swung.
Katow: A large rock hitting the bottom of a metal basin.
Gatchwang: A rubber band ricocheting off one metal plate and onto another.
Pew pew pew: What a chicken hears when people throw rocks at it.
Pwaaaaank: A cymbal breaking in two.
Iggity aggity ook: The sound squirrels make when they decide to throw things at you.
Pwumph: The sound pudding makes when it lands on the floor.
Daduk: A ball hitting the side of a barn with wet paint of it.
Chapwing: A person with a plate in his head colliding with a tree.
Seewwwff: A rotten peach falling off the tree and hitting the ground.
Gaglap: What a frog sounds like when it jumps in the toilet.
Shplemp: The sound a duck makes when it does its business in the water.

Okay, the other night the computer (which happened to be my mom's) that holds all of my work, including shadows stories took a dive and won't start up all the way. It only goes to the start page but crashes quickly.

Dad thinks it's a virus. And all we can do is wait for it to get fixed. I'm really really annoyed because I have to use dad's computer which is slow and laggy.

So I've pretty much been set back in my work. As far as fan work goes I've been set back a few months. But with original stuff I've been set back a year or two.

1. Let's see, my most valuable possession is the stuffed bear I've literally had since the day I was born

2. Driving down my confidence is pretty easy if you know where to prod.

Okay, the ear infections have mostly wound down and a few more days will probably get rid of it for good, but lordy this island must really hate me or something, because it's a freaking thunderstorm happening now! It began to rain buckets and a clap of thunder scared the living daylights outta me!

Now don't get me wrong, I love thunderstorms, but it's awfully close for comfort. I can hear the thunder rumbling in what sounds like roughly eight miles away, (and possibly closing) probably on the ocean or something.

And it doesn't help that my parents went on their anniversary dinner, and my sisters are at friends houses, leaving me with my grandma and little brother.

It's awesome to see, but I really hope the power stays on.

But the power has returned three and a half hours later, so I can post this. What a crazy night.

But things are fine now, in DA/work related news, I just recorded a new song, but don't have a good preview picture for it, so it'll be a day or so before I actually post it.
